1.3 Auto installer

1. Open https://analytics.example.com/server/install.php, replacing the hostname with yours. If UXWizz is in a subfolder, include it before /server/install.php.

2. Follow the setup checks. Resolve missing PHP extensions or write-permission errors through your hosting panel or server administrator.

3. Enter the database host, name, username, and password you created. A local database is usually at 127.0.0.1 or localhost; use the value supplied by your host. The database account needs access to the UXWizz database.

4. On Create your administrator, enter a password of at least 12 characters and select Create administrator.

5. Open the dashboard and sign in as admin with that password.

6. Add the tracking code to a test page. Visit it, then check Visitors in UXWizz.

The Linux and Docker methods supply database settings for you. Do not replace those generated settings during browser setup.

Use HTTPS on a public server before entering database credentials or an administrator password. If setup partly completes, keep the existing database and application key while resolving the reported problem; do not start by deleting data or reinstalling.

Check Settings → Scheduled Tasks after setup. A manual installation also needs a server task runner. Creating a task in the dashboard alone does not configure the server to run it.

If the database connection fails, check the host, full database/user names, assigned privileges, and any environment overrides. Database credentials and PHP permissions require hosting-panel or server access.
